Alongside that, I offer Quirky Mentoring and Quirky Coaching. Under that, are the roots of where all this began – With my Quirky Books blog. I have been blogging for over four years and am thrilled that I now have my own www.youtube.com/user/quirkybooksTV channel, that is an extension of my blog. I have a site under construction that will be my e-book store called www.quirkybooks.net where I will publish a variety of ‘How to’ books for your personal and professional development. Everything is underpinned by my Embrace Your Quirky philosophy, that is all about being yourself in your life and business, to live a happy, successful and fulfilling existence. As always, I will be quirking it UP! Welcome to my World Of Quirky. It’s going to be one heck of a ride, so enjoy every minute of it.

Blog Trainer UK is #FLBiz of the Month

Hi everyone

#FLbiz

As you may or may not know, I teach Blogging as an aid to recovery for the Recovery Learning Community, that is part of the NHS Partnership Trust.

I also teach Blogging for Business Fast Track Masterclass and Blogging for Health and Happiness Workshop, at the Phoenix in Exeter, in Devon, in the UK. For this, I go under the name of Blog Trainer UK and have my own http://www.blogtrainer.co.uk site, that is a Google Verified Business.

I am pleased to say that Blog Trainer UK is #FLbiz of the Month, for both January and February 2015. In order to receive the award, you have to use #FLbiz in your tweets. This gives you free business promotion in the form of Retweets of your Tweets.

I am also pleased to tell you, that #FLbiz is a free business promotional tool, from the company http://www.firstletter.biz and http://www.firstletter.co.uk and the person behind the company, Aaron Palmer, I have been mentoring for some time in his business. I came up with the idea for Business of the Month; that has been hugely successful in helping his business to grow.

Here is the Founder, Aaron Palmer’s testimonial, of the Quirky Mentoring work that I have done for, and with him.

“When our business needed effective marketing and development strategies in order to build our brand, Sandra and Quirky Mentoring worked closely with us to provide a unique, quirky and successful solution which was personalised to our business. She created opportunities for us by suggesting our Business of the Month competition which has really increased the awareness of our hashtag #FLbiz and has helped grow our business with our hashtag now having over 5 million views per month. Sandra has also supported us every step of the way in increasing our Twitter followers from 2,000 to nearly 10,000 in just under 11 months with new and quirky ways with engaging with our audience.

Sandra has mentored and inspired promotional ideas for our Business of the Month Marketing competition also, which in turn offered opportunities to expand our business Group even further. This has since created a networking platform for us, where we have successfully launched a rapidly expanding e-commerce business which has tripled it’s turnover since 2013.

This has supported our business Group greatly as with Sandra’s help, we have now built the foundations in which we can fulfil other business opportunities. All of which we are very thankful for.

A true and inspiring quirky service which you will never find elsewhere.” –

Launch Of Quirky Training and Quirky-Marketing

Hi everyone

Quirky Training In Association with Quirky Academy
Quirky Training, incorporating Quirky-Marketing, produces courses for Quirky Academy and Blog Trainer UK
Quirky-Marketing - Mixing Your Business With Your Pleasure
Quirky-Marketing – Mixing Your Business With Your Pleasure

Apologies for not getting around your blogs much lately, or leaving comments. I have been massively busy. I have two employed jobs, am self employed, and building a whole quirky brand. I now know, my mission in life, is to get everyone to embrace their quirky and be their authentic self, in their life and business; to lead a happy, successful and fulfilling existence.

Since Sunday night, until 4.38am this morning, I have been busy with the creation and launch of Quirky Training and Quirky Marketing, that are two of my new websites. I have had some sleep, but only 45 minutes this morning. I went to bed at 6.15am and got up for work at 7am, to go for an IT session in my teaching job, then after to my day job.

Quirky Training http://www.quirkytraining.com and Quirky-Marketing http://www.quirky-marketing.com form part of My World Of Quirky Organisation, along with others. Quirky Training produces the courses for Quirky Academy, that is my educational hub, and Quirky Marketing is the social media and marketing aspect of Quirky Training. Blog Trainer UK (that is me), creates my own courses and Quirky Training produces them. Also, within my organisation are Quirky Mentoring, Quirky Coaching, beat redundancy blues (beatredundancyblues) and Quirky Books (quirkybooks.) Underpinning all of these, is my Embrace Your Quirky Philosophy, to be your authentic self, mo matter what.

I have still to build websites for Quirky Mentoring, Quirky Coaching, World Of Quirky and finish Embrace Your Quirky.

Embrace Your Quirky and Write soon

Sandra

Testimonial for Quirky Mentoring by Sandra Bellamy from Damie John

Hi everyone

As you are probably aware, I take being quirky to heart in everything I do, so much so, that I decided a while ago to create my own destiny, by building a quirky brand and empire from scratch. What was not set in concrete back then, was the overall picture of why exactly I needed to do this. Besides it being an outlet to express my creativity and quirkiness, now I know it’s to fulfil my ’embrace your quirky’ destiny by helping others to embrace theirs. This is something I hope to work more on in 2015.

I used to suffer with depression and it wasn’t until I started ’embracing my quirkiness’, that I began to love life and love me. This lead to me being depression free. When I started this blog, I still had depression, although not as bad as in my past. This blog helped me to heal by allowing me to express my passion for writing, to explore my creativity and to connect with like-minded people.

Part of my quirky empire is the newly formed Quirky Mentoring that I have just launched on my new http://www.quirkyacademy.com site. Although I have been mentoring for a while, I have only just launched Quirky Mentoring as a business.

One of my recent mentees has done an awesome video testimonial for me, it’s short and sweet, so check it out now!

Remembering Snuggles with Love

Hi everyone

Thanks for your wishes for my 4 year Bloggerversary.

Things are starting to look up, since my 5 weeks of sadness, and intense tender hooks with my guineapigs. Losing Cinnamon, and then Snuggles exactly a month later, has been a huge blow.

Thankfully, Snow is on the mend from her operation for a bad mouth abscess. She is going to be on antibiotics for another month, and still being looked after by my mum.

I have to say, I am still grieving for Snuggles. Despite the fact, I still have Daisy and Chestnut, it is a lot quieter than it used to be in my flat, and the atmosphere is different. I am trying to get used to it, but it’s hard.

Someone upset me in my day job, by making insensitive comments about my guineapigs and laughing. I won’t go into what they said, but it caused me to cry. At the end of the day, they apologised, but it made my grief worse. Add to that, some colleagues had not been happy with me taking time off for my piggies, it has made me think about the situation a lot more. Instead of just focusing on the future, like I was trying to do, and coping with my loss, I feel I have been grieving, and back in a head place that’s not as healthy. Although my Grandma died in June, her ashes have not yet been scattered.

Having said all of that, I am still looking towards an awesome future. I have just relaunched my newly designed http://www.blogtrainer.co.uk site, that is much better than the previous version.

I have been mentoring some people in their businesses and now starting to officially launch my QuirkyMentoring.com services, as part of my Quirky empire/business. Specialising in Quirky Mentoring reports for businesses. I have yet to build the website; but I just launched on Twitter with my http://www.twitter.com/quirkymentoring and Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/quirkymentoring.

I am already getting a lot of followers for my http://www.twitter.com/quirkycoaching account on Twitter, and I haven’t finished building the site yet. I just launched Quirky Coaching on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/quirkycoaching As you can imagine, being quirky, it’s like no other coaching that I know of on the planet. In the fact it breaks the codes and conventions of traditional coaching, by mixing advice and coaching together. Rules are, you don’t give advice in a coaching session. From my own personal experience of being coached, that’s what I didn’t like about traditional coaching. I want to think up ideas myself, but if I can’t, I want advice from someone with experience, knowledge or information, that may help me to advance my career quicker – Hey presto, that’s what Quirky Coaching is all about. Incorporating the 6 principles of Quirky Coaching success: Consult/Advise/Mentor/Coach/Train/Evaluate. Using a combination of some, or all of these, to get the desired result.

I want to take this opportunity to remember Snuggles with love, and post a never seen before photos of me and Snugs, along with photos of the plant, the vets sent to me, with their condolences. They also sent me a belated card for Cinnamon’s death.

Snuggles licked the tears from my face, after my Grandma died, when I was in my home alone. She was physically there for me, when others weren’t. That’s priceless and special, I feel I owe her so much. I hope I can move on and the hole in my heart will heal. I miss Snuggles so much. Love you my baby forever xxxxxxxx

As I type this, I am poorly with a tummy bug and flu like symptoms. I went to sleep yesterday for the night, just after 5.30pm. That is unheard of for me.

I know I haven’t commented much on your blogs recently, and for that I apologise. I often think of you, I am just flat out with so much work at the moment, and not getting as much time to blog. I need to build and finish 6 websites before Christmas, and finalise my Break through the barriers of redundancy book. Thanks for your patience, loyalty and support. It is very much appreciated.

I hope you have a great week and I will write as soon as I am able to.

Sandra
