Off To The Vets Again!

My furry kids Snow and Chestnut
Snow (White) and Chestnut.

I love my Snow, she literally means the world to me and tomorrow she goes under anesthetic again. And she seems to be handling this news a lot better than me!

This morning I bathed her and Chestnut before work and you could see all the more, how much weight she has lost. Although her eyes and still bright and she is still strong inside and feisty – pushing past Chestnut at times and trying to climb out of the sink I bathed her in this morning. This is a recent picture of her before the most dramatic weight loss over this week.

On Friday she was dropping some piggie mix from her mouth and coupled with the weight loss, I felt it was best to get her to see a vet that day. Chestnut always goes with her – good job, as Snow was diagnosed with mites aside from possibly her teeth being overgrown again and confirmed weight loss. She was 1kg on 31st May, now 8.08. But both have to have mite treatment and Chestnut has to be weighed for this too.

The vet could not see Snow’s teeth for the tongue being attached to her cheeks so tomorrow the head vet will anesthetise her to take a closer look at what is going on! I pray it is nothing worse and that Snow will be okay.

I am feeling sad now so going to say write soon and always follow your heart!

Love and hugs

Give Yourself A Gift In 2016

Father Christmas Hand Muff

Give Yourself A Gift In 2016. Whether that is a physical present, the gift of feeling alive, of being happy to be you with all of your quirks, or just to feel blessed in the moment – all of these are essential to your own health and wellbeing.

Life is not always easy, there will be times when you will struggle and ask why did this happen to me, but know you can and will get through those hard times – they shall pass and you will not only survive, but come to thrive, because those times made you stronger.

Giving yourself gifts regularly however large or small, helps to take care of the inner you; to feel love, cherished and nourished throughout your soul.

The best gift I got this week, was the gift of life still living – Snow had to have surgery to remove spores from her teeth on Monday 4th January, after being unable to eat or drink barely anything due to the pain she was in. Thankfully she started eating that night after her operation, while staying at my mum and dad’s; and she started drinking out of her water bottle again yesterday. She has to be on medication for 7 days and my parents are looking after her during her recovery while I am working. My mum is also better at administering her medicine than me – I often miss her mouth! Chestnut is with her.

Monday the 4th was also a huge day for me because I was filmed by Lori to be in an asexual documentary to raise awareness, and it counts as 50% marks for her degree. She came all the way from London to Exeter to film me in my home and will be coming twice more. When it’s finished it will be 7 minutes long and on YouTube.

I have launched my Quirky T Shirt brand on and have 4 new designs live on there so far. I have bought that domain and will be building that site this year, to link through to, who I have partnered with to print and send the T-Shirts to customers. I create the designs and pay a professional designer to do the artwork.

I date myself and must get back to doing more of that in 2016. I also like buying myself gifts sometimes, and for Christmas 2015, I bought myself this Father Christmas hand muff and I bought myself this Iron Man alarm clock as a slightly belated New Year’s gift to myself. One of my alarm clocks broke before Christmas and he was so cute, reduced heavily in price, and the last one left, I just had to buy him. I felt it was intuitively meant to be. Iron Man is my favourite Marvel character and I love robots. The fact he lights up is sensational, and adds to the magic and wonder of this special, no so little alarm clock.

I did manage to fit a date in with myself recently and saw the new Star Wars movie in 3D, I didn’t realise it was a subtitled performance, but I still enjoyed it. I thought it was amazing.

I will be posting regular videos again soon on my channel – However, I will be going through the chapters of My Break Through The Barriers Of Redundancy To Get Back Into Work – An A-Z ‘How To’ Guide, and giving you some key points from each one for free, to help you with your own personal and professional development. I will also be doing more videos to help you in this way throughout 2016, in line with my Quirky Academy mission to helps others with their personal and professional development, all the while embracing your quirky.

What gifts do you like to give yourself?

Stay quirky.

Three Day Quote Challenge: Day Two

Thanks once again to my long term blogging friend danbalva for nominating me for this awesome 3 day Quote challenge! This is day two, and the quote above was at a business show I went to in London, in front of their luggage storage area. Check Dan’s awesome blog out at
These are the Rules for this award:
  • Post one quotation a day for three days (they can be from other sources or one of your own).
  • Nominate 3 other bloggers to participate per post.
  • Thank the blogger who nominated you.

Here are my nominees for today:

Notapunkrocker If you love quirky – check her blog out – and watch out for the lego!!

Brenda Davis – If you love fairytales and magic, check out her blog.

swo8 If you love Blues music, you will enjoy her blog, check it out.

I am going to give you a bonus nominee – my good friend Ralph who always tells his story in photos/pics with words he puts to them, focusing on some ‘naughty’ stuff – I am asexual and personally sex and naked repulsed, but still find his posts hilarious, so check his blog out. I am not sure if he will take part, because he doesn’t accept blog awards and has a very specific format he likes to stick to on his blog, but I would love to see what awesome quote pics he would come up with, so I am going to nominate him anyway and hope he obliges me:

I forgot to mention yesterday, that I recently received a blog award. I am about two years behind or more, with my blog nominations for awards I have been given in the past. I have given Paula my word that I will be nominating for the award she gave me, very soon.

So why the delay, and why am I finding it so hard to have time to visit people’s blogs?? The simple answer is time.

To put it in perspective for you, I have had 9 or less hours sleep in the last three days. It’s really tough when you are relentlessly pursuing your dream.

I have 16 live fully functional websites for different parts of  that I have to manage – check it out to learn more.

I also have to manage 9 Twitter accounts and 11 Facebook business pages, as well as a personal one – please click through on the widgets and like my pages and follow me on Twitter, it would be awesome to have your support there too.

And – I have an active LinkedIn account and more than one Google+ account I have to manage. Plus my  channel – please subscribe if you haven’t done so already, I really need your support.
On top of this, I work a full time day job 5 days a week, and therefore spend almost every evening and my days off, working on my businesses in some way. Even many breaks at work I am on my social media, doing something connected with my businesses.

I haven’t mentioned my emails.

Some times I find it hard to just have time to post something here, even though I love blogging and interaction with you.

And sometimes, I feel myself subconsciously holding my breath; because I haven’t got time to breath.

I know I have a life purpose and mission that I intend to be working on every single day. I was born to help you to develop yourself both personally and professionally, to achieve your goals, ambitions and dreams; all the while embracing your quirky, individual self. I was born to show you, you are gorgeous in your own right, and to help you to believe and have confidence in yourself, no matter what. I was born to show you, it’s okay to be you – you are very beautiful and special, just as you are.

I was born to help asexuals to feel not so alone; to pave the way for asexuality to be recognised and accepted globally as an orientation; to free people from the isolation and fear they feel as a minority population.

I was born to be quirky, not normal, and off the planet different.

What were you born for??

Shrek’s Adventure Was Shrektastic!

Sandra Bellamy With Friend At Shrek Adventure

Shrek’s Adventure was Shrektastic! If you live in London or are visiting London, I highly recommend it as an experience you won’t forget. To be brief, you become part of a real life Shrek Adventure and your mission is to find Shrek and get his help, because Rumpelstiltskin’s other half – a bad witch, has died, and he is holding you responsible for it. There is meant to be a bus ride, but it wasn’t working. The special effects were great, the sets, the costumes and the acting, and I would go again one day.

It was the first time I met my friend Josh in person and we got on really well. We are both intelligent and creative and like doing fun stuff, so it was all good.

I still have more reformatting of the line spacing to do, for the printed version of my Break Through The Barriers Of Redundancy To Get Back Into Work – An A-Z ‘How To’ Guide.

I recently bought the domain to go with my book and my book trailer. Plus, I want to help people break through other barriers in their life, through my future products and services. I have yet to build this site.

I also bought that I have yet to create. It will have products, services and resources for asexuals, and I have just created another YouTube channel to go with it, called Asexualise My Asexual Life, and as previously mentioned, I plan to write asexual books in the future. This channel will be all about my asexual life and will help other asexuals to not feel so alone, and will educate people about what’s it’s like to lead an asexual life.

I will be doing more ‘how to’ and educational videos soon on my as part of my and offering. Although I will still have some asexual videos on that channel, I want a separate channel for asexuals, so I can use this one to focus more on redundancy/career change and breaking through the many different barriers in life, to achieve your dreams; all the while embracing your quirky, authentic you!
