The UK weather was very cold in March, and particularly in my city of Exeter. It snowed twice in a couple of weeks and lasted a few days. The snow looked pretty, but particularly the 1st time, a lot of places were closed and there were tons of people at the supermarket afterwards, flocking to stock up on food again. This was the second bout of snow. Like the first bout, it stopped public transport so I could not see my dad for his birthday, 19th of March – so he had to have a second birthday 3 days later. I was worried about my girls, (guinea pigs), so was rushing around like a headless chicken both times to stock up on hay and food for them in case no shops were open.
Whatever the weather, I hope you stay warm in your heart.
I like to count my blessings. I have many, including you, my loyal and loving Follwers, thank you.
I am have Snow and Chestnut, my mum and dad, and my good friends.
I love living in my flat in the big beautiful Victorian house I live in; and I love living in Exeter, 5 minutes walk from the picturesque and historic Quayside. I get to cross the Quayside bridge every day I go to work in my day job.
I just started work on my first non-fiction asexual book. It’s called Asexual Perspectives, Love, Life and Sex, ACElebration of Diversity. I am interviewing both Asexuals and asexual supporters fot it. I have two of each, already ready to be interviewed for it.
I am also being filmed for a short asexual documentary, have an Internet radio interview about my asexuality being recorded this Sunday; am being interviewed for a blog about my asexuality; and arranging another asexual in person meet-up, in my local area next month.
If you want to find out more about asexuality you can join my community on Facebook Find me on Facebook at Twitter Join me on Twitter; or Google Asexualise My Asexual Life, to check out my Asexualise channel and learn more. I go into very intimate and personal details about myself and past relationships on this channel, in order to help others, so if you are pro asexuality, please subscribe. The more awareness I can raise, the better. On Facebook I have sexual people who support my page by liking it and it helps to spread the word. Asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction, however, I am a Heteroromantic Asexual, so still desire a romantic relationship with the right guy.
Have you heard of Asexuality before? I would love to have your comments.
Santas Run Through Quayside – Happy Quirky Christmas!
It’s not every day you see not one; but multiple Santas running through the Quayside in Exeter.
I love living in Exeter, it is big enough to be noticeable, but small enough to get to know more intimately; and has some quirky stuff going on!
The Quayside gives you a taste of the countryside, culture and history, all wrapped up into one; while being part of an intellectual and vibrant city, supportive and encouraging of the arts. I feel blessed to live here.
Great news, my Break Through The Barriers Of Redundancy To Get Back Into Work – An A-Z ‘How To’ Guide, Book Trailer, is coming soon to a screen near you.
We start filming the indoor scenes next Wednesday 20th of August and I am playing my own character. I am super excited. I know it’s going to be amazing and you will not have seen a non-fiction book trailer like it.
This photo is of the Quay close to my home and is one of the intended locations for part of my book trailer.
I am looking for extras to appear in the last part of my book trailer clapping and smiling as part of the audience, to be filmed on June 24th 12-1pm in Exeter, UK, at the Barnfield Theatre. Extras are to arrive by 11.45am. So if you live in the UK or are visiting the UK and can be in Exeter that day, let me know in the comments if you would like to attend. The trailer with be seen on YouTube, across social media, and maybe other media too.
I am still on a blog book tour; updating my websites and social media, and have to finish the printed version of my book. So I am maxed out with work. I know I haven’t visited many of your blogs recently and that’s something I am sorry about and intend to rectify in future months, just right now I am finding it hard to have time to post on here.
After lots of piggie perils for the last 5 weeks, thankfully Snow is recovering nicely, and Daisy’s lumps are small and not anything to worry about at the moment.
That meant, when my friend invited me to a Halloween party, I jumped at the chance.
How did you celebrate, or not celebrate, Halloween?
