Hi everyone, as you know I am off to London in a few hours time for the Business Revolution Success 2015, entrepreneur seminar. Below is the description taken from my www.youtube.com/quirkybooksTV channel. Have a great week, if I don’t catch up with you before xx
Blue Yeti Pro Mic Sexy Bit Of Kit Unboxing Video – Part 1 ( Part 2 Coming soon – Unboxing of Auphonix Pop Filter for Blue Yeti Microphone.) In this video I unbox the Blue Yeti Pro Mic in front of you for the first time ever. This microphone is stunning and what some might call a sexy bit of kit. Watch this video to find out how to turn on this Mic and live the life of your speaking dreams. This is the video I am using for my voiceover for my Break Through The Barriers Of Redundancy To Get Back Into Work – An A-Z ‘How To’ Guide book trailer, and to record the audio part of my new digital training courses about social media, in the future for my http://www.quirkyacademy.com.
This video is part one: In this video my IPad gets knocked over at the end when I am trying to plug the cable into my Mac. As the second part is more about the unboxing of the Auphonix Pop Filter for Blue Yeti Microphone, I decide to split the video into two parts. Watch Part 2, coming to a screen near you soon, to find out more.
Subscribe for more great videos, give it the thumbs up, share and like. Let me know how you get on with your mic in the comments.

For me, Jay Abraham is the main star of this entrepreneur line up at Business Revolution Success 2015 seminar. Here he is in two business videos
I leave for London from Exeter, at 01.06am – yes, am, on Wednesday 4th of October. I get to London just before 5.30am, before making my way to the hotel and event facilities. I am not leaving London until 11.45pm on Friday 6th, yes, PM. Meaning I get back into Exeter a bit before 4am. The seminar is on for two days and then on Friday I am having a play day – doing something fun! I am just starting my own T-Shirt business and partnering with Amazon.com. At first I am creating Asexual and Inspirational T-Shirts – watch this space!!
I spend the last two Days at the Business Showcase South West. The show was hosted by TV personality, Jamie Breese. There were some top UK inspirational entrepreneurs/business leaders there.
Among the speakers were:
Levi Roots, who shot to fame in the Dragon’s Den with his Raggae Raggae Sauce, telling us his inspirational story.
Judith Levy who used to work at a senior level for a well known retail brand, and now trains CEOs in Leadership skills.
Gerald Ratner, famous for owning major jewellery companies and his goods are junk joke blunder. He is a published author and has redeemed himself now
The Business Showcase South West is a business show and networking event, now in its second year, it was much improved since last year. What felt great, was the fact I am so much further on in my businesses since last year. I was gently ‘selling’ my Blogging, Facebook and Twitter for business services, to other business owners. There was a lot of interest and it was a wonderful experience.
Apologies for now getting around your blogs lately. I am maxed out with work at the moment and typing this in my break.
I am behind with publishing videos on my http://www.youtube.com/quirkybooksTV video channel. This is the 3rd and final video in the series of my attending Andy Harrington’s Stand and Deliver Public Speaker Training on the 31st of March!
So after watching this video, you will understand the mad frenzy I have had to finish creating all of my websites and launching them, so I can stop building websites, stop being a lagger, and start being a book publisher of my Break through the barriers of redundancy book and future books, along with producing other products to go with my book.
You will see a lot more videos from me in the next few posts, as I try madly to catch up. There is some video footage or Chestnut’s birthday party to come and my first ever pet how-to video. Do enjoy!
When others say I can’t, I say I can, and I do it.
One of the key messages I took away from the Business Showcase South West, was that all successful entrepreneurs have one thing in common, they turn their ideas into reality when everyone says they can’t. This was clearly stated in Karen Brady’s speech.
If someone says you can’t do something that you want to do, what do you say?
I recently took this photo of a horse drawn carriage. A couple were inside the carriage, wearing their wedding outfits. Presumably, they had just been married.
What sprung to my mind were two things. Some people say you can’t have a horse drawn carriage for your wedding day, that’s not a reality. Well they certainly made it their reality. Second thing, some say you can’t outrun a horse and he has done just that.
When someone says you can’t, know that you can do anything you set your mind to.
I have a saying; there are no rules other than the ones you set for yourself. Dare to be different, embrace your quirky and do whatever you want to do. As my Grandma always says; there is no such word as can’t. She is my hero and a true inspiration.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you, that liked and shared my blog article “Have you got the guts to run your own business” on Sage One. It could just as easily have been called “Have you got the guts to run your own writing business.”
For those of you who are currently unemployed and interesting in starting your own writing business, this article explains how the Enterprise Club Start-up Training Course can help you, by finding out if you have got what it takes to start and run a business. At the end of the course you will be able to decide whether or not you have a viable business model with a business plan that predicts a profit. You can use this business plan to apply for the National Enterprise Allowance. With the National Enterprise Allowance (NEA) you get the opportunity to work with a business mentor and the chance of having a loan of up to £1000. I did this course whilst I was unemployed last year and learnt a lot of valuable information, knowledge and skills, that has helped me on my way to turning my writing into a business.
As you can see from the following screen shot, the article has received good feedback and lots of sharing across social media. In particular I want to give a humungous thank you to Louise from Inspire your business, who took the time to comment on the blog post itself on the Sage One website. Louise, you are awesome and your support is greatly appreciated. For anyone interested in running their own business, Louise’s blog offers inspiration and advice.
