How To Get Started Selling On Vinted – 10 Steps How To Make Money Make Cash With Vinted

Step 1

Sign up for a Vinted account here https://www.vinted.co.uk/invite/djsandyb

Step 2

Start selling right away by taking photos of the items you want to sell and then uploading those to the site.

Step 3

Add a title, which is one sentence about what your item is and state what colour it is.

Step 4

Be sure to add a description using as many words as possible that people would search for if they were looking for that particular item you are selling.

Be sure to add what size it is.

Add what colour it is, if you haven’t already added the colour to the title.

Select what category the item is for:

Women

Step 5

Men

Kids

Home

Step 6

You can add the brand if you know it, otherwise put it as “unknown”.

Step 7

State what condition it’s in.

Step 8

Add your preloved price.

Explore postage options and what you want to charge the customer based on the size and weight of the item/s you are selling. It’s handy to have a tape measure and some scales to ensure you get these correct, otherwise it could end up costing you money if you haven’t calculated it properly.

I predominantly use Hermes as it’s easy. Once the customer makes a purchase, they would usually buy the postage label too. You then download the postage label and print it off and attach it to your parcel, making sure not to cover up the barcode, otherwise it might not get to the customer or end up elsewhere, and drop it off at your nearest Hermes parcel shop, which is usually a local convenience store they got an agreement with. It’s that easy!

Step 9

But one more thing, make sure you have added your bank account details before you sell your first item, so you are good to go to receive your money. Money is transferred to your Vinted account once the buyer has received your item and confirms they have done so. You can then request that money to be transferred to your bank account whenever you want.

Remember to say thanks to the buyer for their purchase, and inform the buyer when you are posting their item/s to them.

Step 10

Review the buyer and hope they then give you a review too.
