For my birthday I had a weekend full of fun. On Sat 23rd of April – day before my official day and also Chestnut’s birthday, I went to Bristol Zoo with a friend and we also saw the Jungle Book in 3D and Bastille Day, an action/thriller film.
On Sat 24th, the official day, my parents came to my home in the morning, to give me my pressies and card; and I opened them, and I also opened my present – the bear and zesty jar from my friend, along with my other 3 cards.
Then I met a different friend at the train station, and we went to the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. Afterwards, I self-dated and saw Zootropolis – very deep storyline for an animation that brought tears to my eyes, and London has fallen – an action/thriller film. Of course I ate out in Nandos and had popcorn too, on both days.
I had over an hour to wait for the train to go home from Plymouth to Exeter, so the taxi driver dropped me off at a pub/bar near the station and it was very quiet in there. The Assistant Manager and Manager paid for my drinks for me as it was my birthday – 3 pineapple juices! I got back home after midnight so totally maxed out my birthday celebration time and loved every minute of it.
Stay quirky and remember #powerofone

Hi David, thank you. Those photos are taken with my newish phone. The bat enclosure one shows just how close you can get to the bats.

Hey Star, how are you? Yes, I had a ton of fun. I wish I could do those things every day. Love them! I love the cinema and saw Captain America Civil War last week in 3D – Be sure to check it out – the best one yet!

Thanks my friend Ralph. I had an accident this week and fell over and cut/bruised my knee, so that took some energy out of me as I have had to work with it. I have also attended lots of webinars this week and currently doing a YouTube Success Bootcamp – I have an IMovie lesson – later today (Tues). xx

Oh no ! Sorry to read that you had a fall Sandra. Quite scary for you I expect. I hope you are not in too much pain. Good luck with your bootcamp today 😀 ❤

Hi Ralph, yes, it was shocking as I don’t know how it happned, I was rushing to work on the same pavement I usually rush to work on, then ended up flay on my chest in the fern tree stuff and dirt, and had to go home and get cleaned up, iron another suit, take painkillers and buy more and try to get a better dressing for it. I went to work a bit later that day it happened, hobbling, and subsequent days, but not hobbling. It’s healing but badly bruised and somewhat sore with yucky bits, just had an IMovie lesson and now I have to go home after doing a bit of shopping and finish my YouTube Success bootcamp. X

Thank you Ralph – I think that is a lovely compliment comment. I had to get more sleep last night – well, over 6 hours, because I started to feel faint and I felt that the night before too – it feels like low blood pressure which I have not had for years and the only time I had it, I had to go to hospital because I could not stand up. Hopefully this just stays mild and sleep sorts out the problem.

Hi Hutchagoodlife, it’s great to see you here. How are your furry kids?Snow and Chestnut will be in the next blog post. Not sure if you have seen them before? All my family of 4, previous to that, passed away due to genetic health problems in the end. Daisy was the last to go last year, not long after her 3rd birthday. Chestnut had a lump removed a few months ago – non cancerous thank goodness. And Snow has had two ops in her life, one was an absess in her mouth, and she had to have her cheek cut and a tube go through it, and the other operation some months ago, was to her teeth – she stopped eating and drinking – a few weeks after the operation she soon looked a year younger than she was and has vitality once again. Love to your first family xx
