Have you ever had a dream? Something you have always wanted to do, but didn’t? Someone you have always wanted to meet, but it never happened? A lifestyle you always aspire to? A dream job?

Stop what you are doing right now and answer these questions:

Why haven’t you achieved your dream yet?

What is stopping you from achieving your dream?

What are you prepared to sacrifice or give up, to achieve your dream?

How are you going to achieve your dream?

What goals and action plan are you going to put in place, to achieve your dream?

Think about these, and write down your answers to form a framework for how to achieve your dream.

One of my dreams is to be a world renowned author and an inspirational speaker on stage in London, but it’s never going to happen unless I take action. I am taking action to achieve these, as I recently went to London to attend Andy Harrington’s Stand and Deliver, world-class speaker training. Andy is the World’s Leading Public Speaking expert. He has shared the stage with the likes of Anthony Robbins and Donald Trump. www.andyharrington.com

Seize this moment to achieve your dreams.

What dream do you have and what are you doing to help you to achieve it? I would love to read your comments about this!

You may have noticed a similar post from me, on my http://www.beatredundancyblues.wordpress.com blog. I thought this post is relevant to you too.

Major apologies for not getting around to visit many of your blogs recently. At the moment I am working 13 days in a row and have just finished day 3. In case you didn’t know, I now have two employed jobs and I am self-employed. Most nights I am getting 3-4 hours sleep a night, and so I am maxed out with work.

Last week I finished creating my http://www.worldofquirky.com and officially launched it. It took me one day of 12-13 hours and 4 evenings/early mornings to create this one. On the night/through until the early hours before launch, I had less than 2 hours and 20 minutes sleep, before getting up for my day job. It’s not that I don’t think of you and love you, because I do. It it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I know this is true. I love my blogger family and thank you for being a part of my World Of Quirky.

Stay quirky and write soon

Sandra

  1. Sounds like you could use a good nights sleep. If I don’t rest, nothing gets done well. Glad things are going well though. I’ll check out the video shortly. I’m so far behind my reading, I’m not sure I’ll ever catch up.

    1. Hi Jonathan, great to hear from you. How are you? Since seeing Andy Harrington, there are a few more pages I want to add first. The hurdle with the book, is the certain formatting that you have to do, before uploading to Amazon, is tricky. I am just finishing my http://www.embraceyourquirky.com site first and then I have two new websites that I am going to build and launch just with the specifically the book blurb and Coming Soon to create interest. Then it is knuckle down to the last few pages and public. I am mega busy at the moment with two day jobs and in the middle of working 13 days in a row. I am going away a lot in-between working for the next few weeks on business ( National Achiever’s Congress – to see Nick Vijucic, amongst others, so the book finishing will be towards end of May/June/July.

  2. How wonderful for you Sandra to have achieved all you have done so far as you inspire us to chase our dreams. I chased my writing dream for decades and am now living it, writing full time. Adverse circumstances got me to this point, so while at the time I couldn’t understand why so many things kept going wrong, if they hadn’t, I wouldn’t be writing today! Life is full of surprises isn’t it! Take care of yourself and I continue to wish you every success in all your endeavours 🙂 ❤ xx

    1. Hi Sherri, thank you so much for your kind words, they mean such a lot and are always very encouraging. That’s amazing, congratulations on writing full time – Tell me more! Who do you work for and what type of thing are you writing? I write all of the course content for my teaching job. I love it. My Break Through The Barriers of Redundancy book will be published this year, in the next few months. I am away a lot in May for business, so it’s most likely going to be after that. Everything happens the way it does for a reason. I will be writing a tons of books to go on my own e-Book store and Amazon. I can’t wait!

      1. Exciting times Sandra! I write freelance articles for magazines and websites and of course I’m busy writing my memoir at the moment, which is my most important WIP. I have a lot of ideas for other books too…I just need more time, as we all do! You are an inspiration to us all 🙂

  3. Reading those questions you put forward does make one think about what is wanted and how to get there. Life tends to get in the way of dreams, it’s a shame but it is a wake up call to try harder.
