Fun city!

Hi everyone

I finished 4 days of birthday bliss celebrations in the early hours of this morning. Thanks for all of your birthday wishes and kind comments, I will catch up with personal replies soon.

For my actual birthday day, 24th of April, I went to Brean Leisure Park, otherwise known as Fun City. I have to say, it was amazing fun.

The photo that shows part of my hand, was taken just as the Waltzer that I was on, was taking off.

I am planning to do a re-read of my Break through the barriers of redundancy book tomorrow.

    1. Thanks Ste. Yesterday I spend a day reading through my Break through the barriers of redundancy book. I am over half way through now and have a few spelling/layout issues to sort.

      1. Hi Ste, thanks for that lovely comment, it has made me smile. Thanks always for your support. It is good to have it. I am re-reading the second half my Break through the barriers of redundancy book tomorrow.

      2. Bless you. I take size 7 shoes, so I guess I have larger feet for a lady. I have to get wide fitting shoes too. My Grandma used to be a Manager of Saxone shoe shop in the Sheffield area, when she was a lot younger. She always says that the youth of today, fit their head, not their feet, but I definitely fit my feet so that’s another reason for her to be proud of me.

    1. Thanks Ute. After going to Brean Leisure Park, I went to see my Grandma and parents. The next day I went to the cinema and on Sat, after work, I went clubbing with some work colleagues.

  1. This looks like it was so much fun. Last time I went on a rides was the roller coaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 2001.

Glad you had a good few days

    1. Thanks Al. It was a ton of fun. I was in my element because going on rides is one of my favourite things to do. I have been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach twice and on the 250ft rollercoaster twice, but as I don’t like heights, I was in tears. Thankfully, now that I am single, I don’t have to be made to feel guilty if I don’t go on any rides that I don’t want to go on.

      1. Haha I can’t go on rides at all any more because of my back. I used to love going on them. I’ll let you enjoy them for me 😉

    1. Hi Carole, I had an awesome time. It was great to go back to my roots of what I love to do. I have always liked fairground and theme park rides since being a small child. My dad used to mend such rides at a camp site in Exmouth, as part of his job, and I got to go on the rides for free.
