In the New York Times – A Writer’s Dream Come True

Hi Everyone

I just had to write a quick post as I am sooo excited. I am mentioned in the New York Times with a link to the blog post article I did for Exclusive HR company about being a manager, leader, teacher or coach. Here is the link to the blog post: exclusive-thinking.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/redundancy-advice.

This is a Writer’s dream come true, to be talked about in the New York Times and recognised for a good article is truly amazing.  Here is the link to the New York Times article that I am mentioned in: boss.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/09/10/this-week-in-small-business-best-facebook-pages

As you may or may not know, besides writing, I am setting up a website called beatredundancyblues.com and beatredundancyblues.co.uk to help people who are redundant to get back into work. These have not yet been launched, so if you have clicked on them and are feeling a bit disappointed that there is nothing there, it will be worth the wait.

In the meantime, just to wet your appetite, here is a link to my redundancy blog site: beatredundancyblues.wordpress.com

I believe I am able to successfully help people who are redundant to get back into work because during my 15 year career in retail, 7 of which were spent within management roles, I have been made redundant twice and I know first hand how hard it is to battle with your emotions and to deal with the financial impact and practicalities that you need to face. I have also been able to work my way back up the career ladder. In my management roles I have interviewed, recruited, trained and coached staff and I have been through the recruitment process as a potential employee, so I have experienced both sides of the fence and that experience I can use to write books to help people to get back into work, as well as offer services to inspire people to achieve their dreams.

Thanks for your support to encourage me in my dream.

Write soon

Sandra

  1. Congratulations! Our Mummy could use your advice as she is still trying to find her first job. She needs to be earning monies to keep us in the style whee has become accustomed to!
